It was night time and everybody was downstairs for dinner, except Advika, who was sitting on terrace admiring the stars adoring the sky.
Here, on the dining table, Krish noticed the absence of the new member and spoke,
"Bhai, Bhabhi Kaha hai?"
(Brother, where's sister in law?)
Ruhan looked at him,
"Pata nahi."
(Don't know)
"Toh jaake pata karo." Navya's voice reached his ears as she walked towards the table with the food.
(Then go and find out)
Ruhan nodded and stood up from his chair and started walking towards the indoor pool, thinking she might have fallen inside.
When he didn't find her there, he walked upstairs and towards their bedroom, but she wasn't there too.
"Advika, Kahan hai aap?"
(Where are you Advika?)
His voice didn't seem to reach her, finally after searching the whole mansion he walked to the terrace and found her sitting on the swing placed there staring at the sky, her back at him.
"Found you"
Advika looked back at him and stood up, "What happened?"
"You didn't come downstairs for dinner."
She nodded, "I don't wish to. You all eat."
Ruhan held her hand and started walking downstairs, but his grip was loose so that she can pull away if wanted. But no, his touch did something to her.
"Ye aap kya kar rahe hain?"
(What are you doing?)
"Chaliye neeche, aapko dinner skip karne ki ijazat nahi."
(Come downstairs, you aren't allowed to skip dinner)
She quietly walked with him as he led the way, not even pulling back her hand. She didn't want to admit but she liked his touch.
Ruhan walked towards the dining table still holding Advika's hand.
"Uhm uhm"
Someone deliberately cleared their throat looking at their hands, and yes, it was none other than Krish.
Advika immediately pulled back and averted her gaze.
"Where were you Advika?"
Navya asked, and instead of Advika, Ruhan replied,
"Counting stars like a kid."
"I'm not a kid." Her mumbled words were audible to everyone.
"You are." Ruhan spoke. Clearly teasing her.
"I'm not."
"You are."
"No."
"Yes."
"No."
"Yes."
"Arre chup!" Akshay spoke, making their playful fight stop. Navya was smiling the whole time, looking at them both.
"Ok both of you, sit and have your dinner." Navya said and Ruhan nodded while going towards his chair while Advika was standing there.
"Kya hua Advika?" Akshay asked.
(What happened Advika?)
"I... I'll eat later. I don't want to." She said and immediately walked away from there.
Ruhan watched the scene unfolding. He stopped his mother, who was going to ask her. "Ma, ruk jaiye. I'll handle."
(Mom stop.)
Navya nodded and sat in her place not wanting to intervene between the matter Ruhan can handle.
Everybody had their dinner in silence except Advika, who walked in the bedroom.
"Bhabhi ko kya hua?" Krish asked.
(What happened to sister in law?)
Krish scratched his head awkwardly when nobody replied.

Ruhan got up from his place after eating quickly, he filled a separate plate with small amount of food and walked upstairs with it.
He slowly pushed open the door with his foot and stepped inside, spotting Advika sitting on the couch doing something on her phone.
"Kya hua aapko?"
(What happened to you?)
She immediately turned off her device and stood up.
"Kuch bhi nahi."
(Nothing)
Ruhan walked towards her, keeping the plate on the table ahead. He turned towards her.
"You okay?"
She just nodded in reply.
He gently pushed her down on the couch and took a seat beside her. Without saying anything, he mixed the rice with rajma and scooped some of it in a spoon and forwarded it towards her mouth.
"Open up."
She looked at him shocked.
"Ye aap kya kar rahe hain?"
(What are you doing?)
He didn't answer her and just stuffed it in her mouth.
"Eat up Advika, I don't want you falling sick."
The moment was tender, filled with pure form of new love. No other thoughts... just purity and well being of each other.
Ruhan continued to feed her silently, ignoring the way she was looking at him. When she was finished he got up, but before he could move, she held his hand.
"Rukiye"
"Kahiye?"
She wasn't able to form words, his action was way too sweet for her digestion. She let go off his hand, he smiled softly and left the bedroom holding the empty plate.
Advika walked in the attached bathroom and looked at her reflection in the mirror above sink, her face was a bit red.. very faint red.
"He is nice" she mumbled in a low voice and unknowingly, a smile was playing on her lips.
She washed her face and walked out only to see Ruhan entering inside the room and close the doors.
His gaze fell on her who was already staring at him. "Kya hua?"
His tone was gentle, very gentle as he walked towards her.
"Thank you" She said and walked towards the bed.
From the corner of her eyes she saw him smiling.
