Advika looked around but didn't find Ruhan. "Ghost? Oh God!"
She walked down, and now her only goal was to find a human being. Ruhan was watching her from a distance...
"Apke maze lete hai," He whispered to himself and took out his phone, making a video of her.
She was wandering around while clutching the end of her saree. "Oh God, what if the ghost takes me away... no, I'm young to die."
She was mumbling to herself. Finally, she spotted Navya descending the stairs and was heading towards the kitchen.
"AUNTY WAIT!!"
At the sudden scream if Advika, She turned around and saw her practically running downstairs.
"Slow down bachha, nobody is going anywhere." When Advika got near her, Navya engulfed her in a hug.
"What happened? Hm?" She stroked her hairs, while Advika was busy thanking the Lords.
"N-nothing. Just wanted to see you." She bend down, touching her feet. Navya smiled at her.
"Khush raho," She spoke while touching Advika's head. "Come with me. You are wandering alone."
"Aunty..." Advika spoke in a low voice.
"Yes?"
"Um... why is this place so big when there are only four humans here?" Navya looked at her ridiculously.
"Is anything bothering you? Why this question all of a sudden?"
"N-no, I meant... aren't you scared?"
"Scared? Why?"
Advika gulped, unaware of how to ask her this. She decided to leave this thing and would ask someone who will answer her.
She just smiled, "Nahi, bas aise hi puch lia."
Navya nodded and was busy making breakfast,
"This mansion isn't silent always. Today is Sunday, so the househelp is on leave. They do their work and retire to the outhouse."
Advika's eyes shined hearing that there are people who wander around here, only if it is for sometime.
She looked at Navya making the breakfast and walked towards her, "Mai help kardu?"
"You have to make a desert, as your Pehli Rasoi."
Advika nodded, and after asking her about the stuff and where they are kept in the kitchen, she started making gulab jamun.
Navya looked at her. A small smile crept her face as she got busy in the work.
Within sometime the breakfast was ready. "You bring the desert, I'll go take these."
Navya spoke and walked out of the kitchen holding tray and bowls.
Within no time, everybody gathered in the dining hall and sat on their respective places. Advika walked out with a tray which had bowls filled with gulab jamun.
Akshay looked at her coming and looked at Navya gesturing something with his eyes.
Krish looked at Ruhan before speaking, "Bhabhi, you look gorgeous. Bhai aapke upar flat ho gaye the na?"
Ruhan and Advika widened their eyes hearing him. Immediately standing from his place, Ruhan walked towards Krish, but he was fast too. Anticipating the move of Ruhan he got up and was running around the dining table.
"Calm down guys."
It seemed like Akshay's voice had no effect on the two. Advika stood there awkwardly looking at the two brothers running around.
Her eyes widened when Krish ran towards her and hid behind her,
"Bhabhi, save me. Your husband will kill me!!"
His dramatic exclamation left everyone laughing. Ruhan walked towards her.
He took the tray from her hands and kept it on the table. Then walked back towards her. Not to her but to Krish.
"Get away from her."
"No she's saving me." Krish grinned.
Advika widened her eyes. She was at the center between them both.
Advika decided to walk away but Krish hold her pallu, "Bhabhiii... bacha lo na."
Ruhan held her hand, "She's my wife , why will she save you?"
And without thinking twice, he pulled her towards himself. Her face directly landing on his chest. His arms wrapped around her.
Ruhan looked down at her and unconsciously, his hand reached to her face, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.
Advika's heart was skyrocketing, and on top that, Ruhan's cheesy gesture keft butterflies dancing in her stomach.
They both were lost in their moment, but the coughing of someone and Advika immediately stepped back.
Navya looked at them both with a teasing smile, "Tum dono ko ek kamra diya hai, waha Chale jaate."
Ruhan looked away while Advika lowered her head. Her first day in the family and already too much has happened.
Ruhan walked back to his seat, and Krish did the same. Ruhan gave Advika a last glance and then got busy in his food.
Advika looked at Navya, gesturing towards the gulab jamun. She smiled and got up from her chair, "Attention gentlemen!"
Everyone looked at Navya who was standing there, "Now comes the dish by our new member in the family. Gulab jamun by Advika."
And to add in the chaos, Krish started clapping like it's an award function. Akshay hit the back of his head, "Kuch Bhi karta hai, pagal."
He grinned, "Bhabhi, then why are you waiting. Give me that."
Advika served the gulab jamun, her heartbeat racing as she waited for the response. Navya took a bite and looked at Akshay, who nodded at her.
Krish looked at Navya and she smiled knowing its the time to speak, "Advika, bacche it's perfect."
Advika's face turned in a beautiful smile. "Really?"
Akshay nodded and Ruhan looked at her. His mind playing only one thing,
'That smile.... fuck it's so beautiful.'
Advika's gaze fell on Ruhan who was already staring at her, she looked away within seconds, not being able to maintain the eye contact.
